Scans were performed at the Neuroscience Research Australia facility, Sydney, Australia, in a Philips 3-T Achieva TX MRI scanner using a 32-channel head coil. Structural images were acquired using turbo field echo sequence consisting of 256 T1-weighted sagittal slices covering the whole brain (flip angle = 8°, matrix size = 256 × 256, voxel size = 1 mm isotropic).

European Studies In neural systems, information processing can be facilitated by adding an optimal level of white noise. Although this phenomenon, the so-called stochastic resonance, has traditionally been linked with perception, recent evidence indicates that white noise may also exert positive effects on cognitive functions, such as learning and memory. 2021-02-14 · Journal of Cognitive Psychology, Volume 33, Issue 2 (2021) Review . In 1989, JOCN was the first journal dedicated to publishing cognitive neuroscience research. Today, at my last count, there are over 75 journals (10 with the word “cognitive” in the title) that publish cognitive neuroscience papers!

Its main aim is to give its students a first grasp of the world of publishing. Two issues are released each year, Most of these areas are known to be involved in cognitive processes associated to the n-back task (Collette, Hogge, Salmon, & Van der Linden, 2006), and we have previously reported light-induced activity modulations in many of them in sighted participants while performing the same auditory task (Vandewalle et al., 2009, 2011; Vandewalle, Gais, et al., 2007; Vandewalle, Schmidt, et al., 2007). 1753-01-01 2013-03-06 Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience.
